Letter from Our Principal, Ms. Chiment
Dear Mt. Woodson Students and Families,
Thank you for your continued support during this very challenging time for all of us. While the school site remains closed, we are continuing to work diligently to help ensure that student learning continues. Again, teachers have created student learning packets that include the next two weeks’ worth of lessons for every grade level. Like last time, the materials are available both digitally and in hard copy/packet form.
Packet Pick Up will be tomorrow, Thursday, April 2 from noon-6:00 p.m. at Mt. Woodson, and on Friday, April 3 from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at both Mt. Woodson and at the RUSD District Office.
Importantly, in addition to picking up the newest packets of learning materials, please plan to bring back the work that your child has already completed. If your child has turned in their work digitally, which is preferred, this is not necessary. There will be individual teacher boxes labeled for you to put your child’s work into. Please note – you do not have to bring back the previous weeks’ work to pick up the new learning packet. Our teachers want all students to have all of the learning materials. If you missed the previous weeks’ worth of work, just let a staff member know and they will retrieve it for you.
If you’ll be accessing learning materials digitally, you’ll find the link near the top of this page under Remote Learning Resources.
Again, please know that we are working diligently to support our students and their families. Should you have any questions or needs, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or me.
Stay safe,
Barbara Chiment
